  2. The day before the eruption I was in the centre of the town in Ercolano. Like all the other days I did gymnastics and then I went to sleep quietly because I didn't know what was going to happen. That night I couldn't sleep because of the earthquake, so I got up and I went out of my house. I looked in the direction of the volcano. The Vesuvio was erupting! I tried to escape and to help my friends but it was very difficult! I saw a lot of clouds approaching to Ercolano. I was terrified. I took the way for the seaside and I got on a little ship and I escaped towards the sea. I looked back and I saw the ruins of the town. It was a real tragedy!

I was so tired but after I went to the field. After a while happened an heartquake and I quickly ran to my house. But the heartquake destroyed a part of house! My owner told me to pick up with me all the things that the heartquake didn't destroy because he wanted to escape with his family. So, I picked up the things with others slaves while the night and we brought them to the boats.

  4. Hi, i'm Cesare and i'm a ghost that wants to tell you my story.
I lived in Ercolano in 79 d.C. and I was a rich senator. In the morning I went to the Senate and I listened to the conferences. In the afternoon I relaxed in thermal baths and I ate a lot. I had a big family: my wife Aemilia and my children Marcus, Iulia and Syra. My children studied at school and my wife took care of my big house. The day of the eruption, I was finishing my work when I heard a strange noise. In few seconds I saw all my friends die. The city was destroyed. I run to the sea, I saw my face in the water and I descovered I was a ghost.
